About Innovair Industrial

In 1936, Wilf Cockshott started selling acetylene gas to welders at Garry Battery and Radiator Company in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Welders Supplies came into being ten years later, starting with three people and a truck. A new branch opened in Brandon in 1956, and another in Thompson in 1970. In 1984, a 30,000 square-foot facility was built as the new home for Welders Supplies. In 2005, we became the first independent distributor of industrial gases to offer Microbulk Gas Delivery in Western Canada. We started using the name Innovair in 2014, a name that embodies our innovative approach to supplying and distributing industrial and medical gases.
